VT Attends 2021 AWI Annual Convention
The 2021 Architectural Woodworking Institute (AWI) Annual Convention took place this year at the Margaritaville Resort in Montgomery, TX on October 6-8th. The show was attended by top-tier millworkers from throughout the country. AWI is a highly respected organization focusing on growing and educating the woodworking industry.
AWI 2021 was a huge success for VT! It offered an opportunity to showcase both our standard, stock products as well as our custom, high-end specialty products and services while also continuing to build relationships with millworkers in attendance. This year’s seminars and keynote speakers proved to be both educational and entertaining and included two stand-out sessions, “ITR Economics” and “Doing Business in the Midst of Chaos”.
Representing VT this year were Product Specialists, Doug Bachand and Steve Stivers, as well as Plywood Account Manager, Sharla Peters.
The tradeshow was very well organized and run by AWI and the venue offered a relaxing atmosphere to conduct business with other industry professionals. Sharla Peters noted, “We’re very excited to continue to build the relationships we’ve initiated at the convention and we can’t wait for AWI 2022!”
