The Duke Cancer Center, a teaching and research hospital in North Carolina, is a 267,000 square foot fully integrated cancer care and research facility. They are ranked #13 nationally and the building offers state-of-the-art patient care with a more stream¬lined approach to cancer care. In addition, the doors needed to match the millwork package seamlessly while providing the protection patients and staff demand.
VT Industries manufactured over 700 openings for the Duke Cancer Center and worked directly with the architect to select the perfect finish for the doors. The warmth of the facility was enhanced while patients’ privacy was maintained.
