Project Overview:
The Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport in Ft. Lauderdale, FL opened the newest Delta Sky Club to their travelers in the summer of 2021. The $153 million project includes a 33,000 square foot extension of the existing terminal 2, new waiting areas and seating, more dining and shopping options, a bar, marble-clad bathrooms, and much more.
Club members can enjoy the new mezzanine-level location with soaring floor-to-ceiling windows with runway views. The new Ft. Lauderdale Club is alone one of the first Delta Sky Club locations to safely reintroduce its signature hot food offerings after the COVID-19 pandemic.
VT's Commercial Division had provided 1,500 square feet of intricate stonework to the Delta Sky Club. Quartz surfaces are a large part of the interior design, many of which featured miter folds, which add to the complexity of the fabrication and installation.
