What is a Hack-A-Thon?

A hack-a-thon is an event where people come together to collaborate on software projects, typically over a short period, like a weekend. Participants, often including developers, designers, and other tech enthusiasts, work in teams to create innovative solutions, apps, or prototypes. Hack-a-thons can be competitive, with prizes awarded for the best projects, and they often foster creativity, learning, and networking within the tech community.

About VT's Hack-A-Thon Event

VT's hack-a-thon event is open to all team members who have computer access and have been assigned a VT email. The goal of the event is to find innovative business solutions using AI tools to improve processes, reduce costs, or inform the business.
