Are you looking for a fast-paced & rewarding environment to grow your career? VT offers a unique full-time, post-graduation Manufacturing Management Program (MMP) designed to train young leaders to become the future leaders of tomorrow.  

With over 60 years of manufacturing experience, VT understands that the key to success is our people and their passion for excellence. Our hand-crafted MMP provides junior professionals with the tools, guidance, and mentoring they need for a lifelong career here at VT.

Unleash Your Leadership Potential.

With hands-on experience starting from day one, participants will rotate throughout the various production departments learning the equipment in place, processes, & people. Over the course of the two-year program, MMP participants will work very closely with our production managers learning every detail of our manufacturing processes. MMP participants will also take part in VT's ongoing Leadership Development Series (LDS), where they will learn the vital importance of servant leadership and good techniques to properly manage a team. 

Throughout the program, participants will have many opportunities to grow their skill-sets and further define their ability to lead including:

  • Participating in Kaizens to help improve plant efficiencies
  • Shadowing department managers 
  • Gaining a better understanding through the mentor program
  • Traveling to various VT plants to assist with special projects
  • Filling in for department managers when they are out
  • Participating in leadership development training

Do You Have What it Takes?

Becoming an MMP trainee is more than just a job—it's a career. And a very rewarding one. 

A successful candidate will:

  • Have earned their Bachelor's Degree (preferably in Business, Engineering, or Liberal Arts)
  • Have previous leadership experience 
  • Commit to the MMP for 2 years
  • Be willing to work on the second shift for 12 - 24 months
  • Be open to rotating through departments
  • Be willing to relocate to advance career
