- VT provided a total of 33 doors for the new multi-tenant medical center.
- Several flush doors were selected for this project including doors with fire ratings of 45-minutes and 90-minutes, particleboard cores, 5-ply construction, barn doors, and doors featuring rain glass.
- The doors featured a quarter sliced white ash veneer with a custom finish.
Project Overview:
Cypress Creek Medical Pavilion (CCMP) an 82,000 sq. ft. multi-tenant medical center located in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. It is home to an urgent care center, offers imaging services, physical therapy, and various physician offices that will complement the state-of-the-art Ambulatory Surgery Center. For patients, CCMP will provide the benefit of a complete array of quality healthcare products and services in one convenient location, meeting all their health and wellness needs, while catering to their active lifestyle.
Building Challenge:
The idea for CCMP was born from the need for efficient medical
service in the Cypress Creek area. The developers followed a
strategic plan, which is complemented with access to airports
to accommodate the growth of medical tourism. Following a
strategic plan which is complemented by access to airports and
the growth of medical tourism.
VT Industries’ Architectural Wood Doors were specified by the
architect, Gresham Smith. The doors were manufactured for
and installed by the Lotspeich Company of Florida, a long-time
distribution partner of VT Industries.
VT’s Contribution:
VT provided a total of 33 flush wood veneer doors for the Cypress Creek Medical
Pavilion project. Several flush doors were selected for this project
including doors with fire ratings of 45-minutes and 90-minutes,
particleboard cores, 5-ply construction, barn doors, and doors
featuring rain glass. All the doors featured A-grade controlled wood, quarter sliced white ash veneer with a custom finish. The layup was center-balanced for both the singles and the pairs.
